OUR STORY

 

At the age of just twenty, Marco Moreo presented his initial collections on the stands of his father’s business as footwear representative. His real turning point came in 1990, when his sales doubled: this stemmed from a collection developed in collaboration with an experienced model maker who aptly interpreted the MarcoMoreo mood.

 

Years of significant growth followed. Business expanded to Great Britain and Ireland where the MarcoMoreo brand was met with a success that is still present today – to date, over 60 sales points stock MarcoMoreo shoes as leading store brand. The UK press discovered and promoted the brand with articles and interviews, MarcoMoreo advertising appeared on IMAGE, IT Magazine, Social & Personal, Ulster Tatler.

 

Between 1992 and 1999, after Great Britain and Ireland, the brand expanded its market to include Belgium, Holland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Sweden, with shoe sales reaching 90 thousand pairs per season (split across 450 North European clients).

 

Over the years MarcoMoreo footwear has been sold in Harrods and in the Russell & Bromley English footwear chain. In Paris it is stocked in Galeries Lafayette and Le Bon Marché. In Dublin you can find Moreo shoes in Arnotts (with a shop-in-shop since 2015), Fitzpatricks Shoes, Brown Thomas in Grafton Street. MarcoMoreo footwear is also retailed in New York, Los Angeles, Hongkong, Dubai, Moscow... Marco has also collaborated with the English footwear brand Church’s.

 

MarcoMoreo footwear has an international aura that has always been appreciated by those who love “Italian Style”.
